Dated at St. John’s , August 30, 2018. Gerry Byrne Minister of Fisheries and Land Resources ORDER Short title 1. In this Order, "license" means a licence issued under section 15 of the Wild Life Regulations. 77/18 s2 Devices permitted 3. A person shall only shoot a wolf under a licence using (a) a centre-fire rifle not greater than .25 calibre; or; (b) a shotgun using shot size 2 or larger. 77/18 s3 Prohibition 3.1 Notwithstanding paragraph 3(a), a person shall not carry, transport or possess a firearm referred to in paragraph 3(a) in any area on the Island of Newfoundland frequented by wild life during any part of the open season within the period of September 1 to December 31, inclusive, each year. 57/22 s1; 63/23 s1 Bag limit 5.
