[...] Inconsistencies in regulations Incompatibilité — règlements (3) In the event of an inconsistency between a consolidated regulation published by the Minister under this Act and the original regulation or a subsequent amendment as registered by the Clerk of the Privy Council under the Statutory Instru ments Act, the original regulation or amendment prevails to the extent of the inconsistency. Interpretation Interprétation 2 In this Order, Act means The Natural Products Marketing Act of Man itoba, C.C.S.M., c. N20; (Loi) Commodity Board [Repealed, SOR/97-422, s. 1] hog means a member of the species Sus Scrofa L. (do mestic pig) of any kind, grade or class; (porc) Plan means any plan for the marketing of hogs, estab lished and amended from time to time, pursuant to the Act; (Plan) Producer Board means the Manitoba Pork est., contin ued pursuant to subsection 3(1) of the Manitoba Hog Producers’ Marketing Plan Regulation made under the Act. Levies Contributions 4 The Producer Board is authorized, in relation to the powers granted to it by section 3 with respect to the mar keting of hogs in interprovincial and export trade, to make orders fixing, imposing and collecting levies or charges from persons described in section 3 who are en gaged in the production or marketing of hogs and for such purpose classifying such persons into groups and fixing levies or charges payable by the members of the different groups in different amounts; and the Producer Board may use such levies or charges for its purposes, in cluding the creation of reserves, the payment of expenses and losses resulting from the sale or disposal of hogs and the equalization or adjustment among producers of hogs of moneys realized from the sale thereof during such pe riod or periods of time as it may determine.
