Clauses et conditions (1) Subject to subsection (2) and (3), a grazing agreement shall be in such form and subject to such terms and conditions as the director deems appropriate, taking into consideration the type of land, other land uses, the animals to be grazed and the need to protect the wildlife habitat. (2) A grazing agreement shall be for an initial term of three years and shall, provided the applicant is not in breach of the agreement, be renewable for a further term of not more than 27 years subject to such terms and conditions as the director deems appropriate. (3) Where a grazing agreement entitles a person to graze animals, the person must pay to the Minister an annual fee equal to $3.00 times the number of animal unit months that the grazing agreement entitles the person to have in the year. Signature A grazing agreement may be signed by the director or the director’s delegate on behalf of the Government of Yukon.
