[...] Inconsistencies in regulations Incompatibilité — règlements (3) In the event of an inconsistency between a consolidated regulation published by the Minister under this Act and the original regulation or a subsequent amendment as registered by the Clerk of the Privy Council under the Statutory Instru ments Act, the original regulation or amendment prevails to the extent of the inconsistency. Interpretation Interprétation 2 In these Regulations, “Act” means the Freshwater Fish Marketing Act. 2 Dans le présent règlement, «Loi» signifie la Loi sur la commercialisation du poisson d’eau douce. Exemption Exemption 3 Subject to section 4, carriers to which the legislative authority of the Parliament of Canada extends are ex empted from the provisions of paragraphs 21(1)(b) and (c) of the Act. 3 Sous réserve de l’article 4, les transporteurs relevant de la compétence législative du Parlement du Canada sont exemptés de l’application des alinéas 21(1)b) et c) de la Loi. Application Application 4 (1) The exemption referred to in section 3 shall apply only when the exempted carriers are requested to send, convey or carry, or to receive for carriage and delivery, fish as defined in the Act by the Corporation or an agent of the Corporation or by a person or persons licensed by the Corporation. 4 (1) L’exemption mentionnée à l’article 3 ne s’applique que lorsqu’une demande est faite aux transporteurs exemptés d’envoyer, de transporter ou de recevoir pour transporter et livrer, du poisson au sens défini dans la Loi par l’Office ou un agent de l’Office ou par une per sonne ou des personnes à qui l’Office a délivré une li cence. (2) Where a carrier is exempted pursuant to section 3, the bills of lading or other contracts for carriage issued by the carrier to carry and deliver fish, shall bear the number of the licence issued to the sender or vendor by the Corporation or shall bear a signed statement attest ing that the sender or vendor is an authorized agent of the Corporation. (2) Lorsqu’un transporteur est exempté en vertu de l’ar ticle 3, les connaissements ou autres contrats de trans port délivrés par le transporteur pour le transport et la li vraison du poisson doivent porter soit le numéro de la licence délivrée par l’Office à l’expéditeur ou au vendeur, soit une attestation signée stipulant que l’expéditeur ou le vendeur est un mandataire autorisé de l’Office.
