[ 14th July, 1990.j These Regulations may be cited as the REGISTERED AND RESTRICTED PESTICIDES (USES, RESTRICTIONS AND PRECAUTIONS) REGULATIONS. In these Regulations, unless the context otherwise requires ( a) "pre-harvest interval" means the period before harvest of a crop when no pesticide should be sprayed. (b) "withholding period" means the length of time after spraying a crop during which livestock should be withheld. 3. Registered and restricted pesticides shall be used according to general directions given in the label, and special attention shall be paid to necessary protective clothing and to the pre-harvest interval and withholding period. 4. The uses restrictions and precautions as shown in the Schedule annexed hereto shall apply to restricted pesticides listed in Schedule III to the Pesticides Control Act.
