SCHEDULE No. 25] Belize Agricultural Health Authority BELIZE: STATUTORY INSTRUMENT No. 25 of 2004 REGULATIONS made by the Minister responsible for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 61 of the Belize Agricultural Health Authority Act, Chapter 211 of the Substantive Laws of Belize, Revised Edition 2000, and all other powers thereunto him enabling. These Regulations may be cited as the BELIZE AGRICULTURAL HEAL TH AUTHORITY (BOVINE SPONGIFORM ENCEPHALOPATHY) (PROHIBITION FROM IMPORTATION) REGULATIONS,2004. 2. ]tis hereby declared thatthe importation from the United States of America and Canada (the affected countries) of specified risk commodities set out in the Schedule, including ruminant animals, animal products from ruminantanirrials and any other pr~duct containing animal protein from ruminants is hereby prohibited. 3. The feeding of ruminant protein to animals in Belize is hereby prohibited. 4. The preparation and use in Belizeofanimal feed containing animal protein is hereby placed under the supervision of the competent authority. Short title.
