2. Prohibition of export of dry fish
3 . Offences and penalties IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred on the Minister of Environment, Natural Resources Conservation and Tourism by section 3 of the Fish Protection Act, the following Regulations are hereby made -
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Fish Protection (Prohibition of Citation Export of Dry Fish) Regulations, 20 17.
2 . ( 1 ) No p�rson shall export or cause to be exported any dry fish produced Prohibition from fish originating from Botswana. ofexpon of dry fish (2) The prohibition referred to under subregulation ( 1 ) shall be for a period of 1 2 months from the date of publication of these Regulations. (3) The prohibition referred to in regulation ( 1 ) shall not apply to licensed fish farms.
3. A person who contravenes any provision of these Regulations commits Offences an offence and shall be liable to a fine of P200 and imprisonment for a term and penalties not exceeding three months.
