ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH [CH.232 – 3 –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– [Original Service 2001] STATUTE LAW OF THE BAHAMAS CHAPTER 232 ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH (FEES FOR SERVICES) REGULATIONS, 1989 (SECTION 17) [Commencement 1st January, 1990] 1. These regulations may be cited as the Environ mental Health (Fees for Services) Regulations, 1989. 2. There shall be charged in respect of the services set out in the Schedule the respective fees set out against that service. 3. Any fee or charge collected under these Regula tions shall be paid into the Consolidated Fund. 4. Any fee or charge incurred in the performance of any service rendered may be recoverable summarily by the Minister. SCHEDULE (Regulation 2) 1. Inspection of shipping containers upon arrival at a port of entry or at premises of owner (1) For each service in respect of — (a) a container less than 20 feet in length $ 25.00 (b) a container not less than 20 feet in length but not more than 40 feet in length $ 50.00 (c) a container 41 feet in length or more $ 80.00 (2) For each inspection performed on any Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday or on any other day at any time between the hours of five-thirty o’clock in the afternoon and nine o’clock in the forenoon of the day following $30.00 per hour or any part thereof per officer S.I. 69/1989 Citation. (1) Issuance of a deratization exemption certifi cate in respect of — (a) a vessel of less than 150 net tons $250.00 (b) a vessel of not less than 150 net tons but not more than 349 net tons $325.00 (c) a vessel of not less than 350 net tons but not more than 549 net tons $400.00 (d) a vessel of not less than 550 net tons but not more than 949 net tons $450.00 (e) a vessel of 950 net tons or more $450.00 for the first 950 net tons plus $10.00 for each additional 100 tons or part there of. (2) For each inspection performed on any Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday or on any other day at any time between the hours of five-thirty o’clock in the afternoon and nine o’clock in the forenoon of the day following $30.00 per hour or any part thereof per officer 3. Treatment for control of vector (1) Treatment of tyres For each treatment in respect of — (a) not more than ten tyres $ 5.00 (b) not less than 11 but not more than 25 tyres $10.00 (c) not less than 26 but not more than 50 tyres $25.00 (d) not less than 51 but not more than 100 tyres $50.00 (e) more than 100 tyres $50.00 for the first 100 tyres plus $20.00 for each additional 100 tyres or any part thereof.
