DECEMBER, 2008 PREVENTION OF POLLUTION OFTHE SEA ORDER, 2005 (S 18/05) PREVENTION OF POLLUTION OF THE SEA (AUTHORISED ORGANISATIONS) REGULATIONS, 2008 In exercise of the power conferred by section 31 of the Prevention of Pollution of the Sea Order, 2005, the Minister of Communications, with the approval of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan, hereby makes the following Regulations Citation. 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Prevention of Pollution of the Sea (Authorised Organisation) Regulations, 2008. Authorised organisations. 2. (1) The organisations specified in the Schedule are hereby authorised for the surveyor inspection of Brunei Darussalam ships and the issue of any certificate or endorsement under the Order. (2) The Director may, with the approval of the Minister, authorise any person to be an authorised organisation under sub-regulation (1), subject to such conditions as he may impose.
