Amendment of section 23 of Chapter 40. 371 7th. JULY, 2009 BRUNEI DARUSSALAM GOVERNMENT GAZETTE CONSTITUTION OF BRUNEI DARUSSALAM (Order made under Article 83(3)) LAND CODE (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 2009 In exercise of the power conferred by Article 83(3) of the Constitution of Brunei Darussalam, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan hereby makes the following Order Citation and commencement. 1. This Order may be cited as the Land Code [Amendment) Order, 2009 and shall commence on the same day as the Land Code (Strata) Act. Amendment of section 23 of Chapter 40. 2. Section 23 of the Land Code is amended, in subsection (3), by inserting "or to any other fit and proper person or persons" immediately after "officers" in the fifth line. Made this 7th. day of Rejab, 1430 Hijriah corresponding to the 30th. day of June, 2009 at Our Istana Nurul Iman, Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam.
