FA E R N AT F TQUO U BERMUDA MERCHANT SHIPPING (REGISTRATION OF SHIPS) AMENDMENT (NO. 2) REGULATIONS 2019 BR 82 / 2019 The Minister responsible for Maritime Administration, in exercise of the power conferred by sections 25 and 32(6) of the Merchant Shipping Act 2002, makes the following Regulations: Citation These Regulations, which amend the Merchant Shipping (Registration of Ships) Regulations 2003 (“the principal Regulations”), may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Registration of Ships) Amendment (No. 2) Regulations 2019. Amends regulation 5(1) Regulation 5(1) of the principal Regulations is amended by— deleting and substituting the full-stop at the end of subparagraph (i) with a semi-colon; and inserting after subparagraph (i) the following— bodies corporate incorporated in any of the countries listed in Schedule A1. ”. “(j) Inserts Schedule A1 The principal Regulations are amended by inserting above Schedule 1 the following Schedule A1— 1 2 (a) (b) 3 1 MERCHANT SHIPPING (REGISTRATION OF SHIPS) AMENDMENT (NO. 2) REGULATIONS 2019 “SCHEDULE A1 (Regulation 5(1)) LIST OF COUNTRIES FOR PURPOSES OF REGULATION 5(1)(J) Australia Bahamas Canada China PR Hong Kong India Japan Liberia Marshall Islands Monaco New Zealand Panama Singapore South Africa South Korea Switzerland United Arab Emirates United States of America ”.
