NORTHERN TERRITORY OF AUSTRALIA Regulations No. 2 of 2005* Barramundi Fishery Management Plan Amendment 2005 I, KONSTANTINE VATSKALIS, the Minister for Primary Industry and Fisheries, pursuant to section 25A of the Fisheries Act, approve the following amendments to the Barramundi Fishery Management Plan. Dated 24 January 2005. K. VATSKALIS Minister for Primary Industry and Fisheries Barramundi Fishery Management Plan Amendment 2005 2 AMENDMENTS TO BARRAMUNDI FISHERY MANAGEMENT PLAN 1. Fisheries area Clause 8 of the Barramundi Fishery Management Plan is amended – (a) by inserting at the foot of subclause (3) the following: "Penalty: $10 000."; and (b) by inserting after subclause (3) the following: "(4) Despite subclause (1)(a), a barramundi licensee must not fish under a barramundi licence in the Adelaide River landwards of an imaginary line drawn between co-ordinates 7414 E 86470 N to 7435 E 86491 N on 1:100 000 map sheet Koolpinyah 5173. Penalty: $10 000.". 2. Schedule 6 Schedule 6 to the Barramundi Fishery Management Plan is amended by omitting the item relating to the Adelaide River.
