MINISTERIAL ORDER Nº 002/11.30 OF 18/08/2010 DETERMINING REGULATIONS ON QUALITY SEEDS PRODUCTION AND CONTROL OF SEED PRODUCED AND MARKETED The Minister of Agriculture and Animal Resources, Pursuant to the Constitution of the Republic of Rwanda of 04 June 2003, especially in Articles 93, 120, 121 and 201; Pursuant to Law nº 14/2003 of 23/05/2003 on production, quality control and marketing of plant quality seeds, especially in Articles 5 and 11; After consideration and approval by the Cabinet in its session of 14/05/2010; HEREBY ORDERS : Article One : Purpose of this Order This Order determines the way regulations on quality seeds production and control of seeds produced and marketed are established. ARRETE MINISTERIEL Nº002/11.30 DU 18/08/2010 PORTANT REGLEMENTS DE LA PRODUCTION DES SEMENCES DE QUALITE ET DE CONTROLE DES SEMENCES PRODUITES ET COMMERCIALISEES Le Ministre de l’Agriculture et des Ressources Animales, Vu la Constitution de la République du Rwanda du 04 juin 2003 telle que révisée à ce jour, spécialement en ses articles 93, 120, 121 et 201 ; Vu la Loi nº 14/2003 du 23/05/2003 portant sur la production, le contrôle de qualité et la commercialisation des semences végétales, spécialement en ses articles 5 et 11 ; Après examen et adoption par le Conseil des Ministres en sa séance du 14/05/2010; ARRETE : Article premier : Objet du présent arrêté Le présent arrêté fixe la façon dont les règlements de la production des semences de qualité et de contrôle des semences produites et commercialisés sont établis. Official Gazette nº40 of 04/10/2010 12 Ingingo ya 2 : Amabwiriza Amabwiriza akurikizwa mu itubura ry’imbuto nziza n’amabwiriza akurikizwa mu ituburwa n’icuruzwa ry’imbuto nziza ashyirwaho na Minisitiri ufite ubuhinzi mu nshingano ze. Ingingo ya 3 : Ivanwaho ry’ingingo zinyuranyije n’iri teka Ingingo zose z’amateka abanziriza iri kandi zinyuranyije naryo zivanyweho. Ingingo ya 4 : Igihe iri teka ritangira gukurikizwa Iri teka ritangira gukurikizwa ku munsi rigangarijweho mu Igazeti ya Leta ya Repubulika y’u Rwanda. Kigali, kuwa 18/08/2010 Article 2 : Regulations Regulations on quality seeds production and control of seeds produced and marketed are established by the Minister in charge of agriculture. Article 3 : Repealing provision All prior provisions contrary to this Order are hereby repealed. Article 4 : Commencement This Order shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Rwanda. Kigali, on 18/08/2010 Article 2 : Règlements Les règlements de la production des semences de qualité et de contrôle des semences produites et commercialisés sont établis par le Ministre ayant l’agriculture dans ses attributions. Article 3 : Disposition abrogatoire Toutes les dispositions antérieures contraires au présent arrêté sont abrogées. Article 4 : Entrée en vigueur Le présent arrêté entre en vigueur le jour de sa publication au Journal Officiel de la République du Rwanda.
