- What does the founding offer mean?
A company whose company check is submitted before the founding date is free until that date, with no card needed. It then pays the founding price each month for as long as its membership runs. A check still in review on the date keeps the offer. Add a card from your company's billing screen before the date; without one, membership pauses until a card is added. Cancelling ends the founding price: a company that comes back pays the list price.
- Do I need membership to use the research?
No. Any signed-in account may ask the research and read the law library; use is metered against the account's allowance. Membership is what opens the verified network.
- How do seats work?
Membership includes a number of seats, shown above. Each further seat is its own monthly subscription. Everyone who takes a seat passes their own identity check first.
- Do you charge for verification?
No. Identity checks and the company check are Nelum's cost. A check that fails is a fail for everyone; no price changes the standard applied.
- How do we pay, and can we cancel?
By card through Stripe. Prices are set in pounds; Stripe may present them in your own currency at checkout, converted at its rate and with its conversion fee included in the amount shown, so the figure you approve is the figure you pay. Cancel any time — the subscription runs to the end of the paid month. Your verification and records remain.
- Who handles the money?
Stripe, Nelum's payments partner. Card details never touch Nelum's systems, and Nelum never holds or controls client funds.
