Russian gold moving to Turkey. No trade agreement found; Turkey has no autonomous sanctions on Russian gold (tr module). Russian-origin gold falls under Turkey's general rules for non-FTA countries (20% additional duty on gold, per tr/ae-tr notes) and the 12 t monthly quota, so there is no pair-specific tax row. Borsa Istanbul delisted Russian refiners on 7 Mar 2022, so new Russian bars are not standard gold on the exchange. Turkish-recorded imports from Russia are small and fell each year after 2022, well below what Russian customs records obtained by Reuters showed.
