ICAP. 15:02 Dangerous Drugs (Production of Cannabis for Medicinal and Scientific Use) (Amendment) Regulations, 2018 (No. 1) erin oes, SUIS (Ne 2), 7 IT is hereby notified that the Minister of Health and Child Care has, interms of section 60f the Dangerous Dru gs Act [Chapter 15 02), made the following regulations: — 1. These regulations may be cited as the Dangerous Drugs (Production of Cannabis for Medicinal and Scientific Use) (Amendment) Regulations, 2018 (No. 1). 2. The Dangerous Drags (Production of Cannabis for Medicinal and Scientific Use) Regulations, 2018, published in Statutory Instrument 62 of 2018, (hereinafter referred to as the “principal regulations”), is amended by the insertion after seclion 63 of the following section — “Designated port of entry or exit 63A. For the purposes of these regulations, the designated port of entry or exit for fresh or dried cannabis, cannabis plants, cannabis sceds or cannabis oil shall be Robert Gabriel} Mugabe International Airport, Harare.”. 3. The First Schedule to the principal regulations is amended — (a) by the deletion of Paragraph | and substitution of the following — “1. Application foralicence to produce cannabis... 10 600"; (b) bythe insertionof paragraph | Aafter Paragraph i which is as follows — “1A. Issue of a licence to produce cannabis . | | 40 000”. 4. The Second Schedule to the principal regulations is amended — (a) by the insertion, at the beginning of the Form entitled “Application for issue of a licence for production of cannabis” of “Form DDPC i ms {b) by the insertion, at the beginning of the Form entitled “Licence for site” of “Form DDPC2”: and (c) by the deletion of paragraph 9 in the Form entitled “Licence forsite” and the substitution of the following — 2055 Dangerous Drugs (Production of Cannabis for Medicinal and Scientific Use) (Amendment) Regulations, 2018 (No. 1) “9. The site shall for purposes of section 5 be under “i oversight of the following authorised person and responsible person: Name of Responsible person... National Identity Number”.
