4. Fine mass/weight: the mass of the precious metal contained in the article/product, as determined by multiplying the gross weight of the article/product by its caratage divided by 24 or fineness divided by a thousand. e.g. for an 18 ct gold alloy weighing 1gram , the fine mass of gold in the alloy is calculated like this: Important: Read the guidelines before completing this form
5. Delete whichever units that are not applicable (i.e. units not used)
