STAATSKOERANT, 26 AUGUSTUS 2005 N0.27914 3 ~ ~~~~ GOVERNMENT NOTICES GOEWERMENTSKENNISGEWINGS DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE DEPARTEMENT VAN LANDBOU No. R. 834 26 August 2005 FERTILIZERS, FARM FEEDS, AGRlCUlTURAL REMEDIES AND STOCK REMEDIES ACT 1947 (ACT 38 OF 1947) REGULATION RELATING TO THE PROHIBITION OF THE SALE, ACQUISITION, DISPOSAL OR USE OF AGRICULTURAL REMEDIES AND STOCK REMEDIES I, Angela Thokozile Didiza, Minister of Agriculture, acting under section 7biS(t)(a) of the Fertilizers, Farm Feeds, Agn'culhrrai Remedies and Stock Remedies Act, 1947 (Ad 36 of 1947), has made the mgulation set out in the Schedule. SCHEDULE .. PROHlBmON OF THE SALE, ACQUISITION, DBPOSAL OR USE OF AGRtCULTURAL REMEDIES AND STOCK REMEWES The sale, aoquisition, disposal or use of Chlordane in technical or any other form is hereby prohibited as from 30 March 2005. Any person who fails to comply witb the conditions ofthis Regulab'on shall be guilty of an offence and EaMe on conviclion to a fine not exceeding one thousand sand or imprisonment not exceeding hm, years orto both such fine and imprbwmt.
