SCHEDULE Definitions 1. In these regulations the Regulations" mean the Regulations on the Fees for Consideration and Processing of Waste Management Licences, Transfer and Renewal, thereof, 2014 published under Government Notice No. 142 of 28 February 2014. Amendment of Regulation 4 of the Regulations 2. Regulation 4 of the Regulations is amended as follows: (a) by the substitution, in subregulation (1), for the word "applicant" of the word "proponent"; (b) by the insertion, in subregulation (4)(a), of the words "in terms of the ECA Regulations or the previous NEMA Regulations" after the word "rejected"; and (c) by the substitution, in subregulation (6), for the words "Where an application for which a basic assessment is required, is lodged," of the words "Where an application for basic assessment is lodged,". NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT ACT: WASTE ACT, 2008 (ACT NO. 59 OF 2008) AMENDMENTS TO THE REGULATIONS ON THE FEES FOR CONSIDERATION AND PROCESSING OF APPLICATIONS FOR WASTE MANAGEMENT LICENCES, TRANSFER AND RENEWAL THEREOF I, Bomo Edith Edna Molewa, Minister of Environmental Affairs, hereby amend the regulations on the fees for consideration and processing of applications for waste management licences, transfer and renewal thereof, under sections 45(2), 52(4)(a), 55(3)(a) and 69(1)(dd) of the National Environmental Management: Waste Act, 2008 (Act No. 59 of 2008) as set out in the Schedule hereto.
