STAATSKOERANT, 4 JANUARIE 2008 No.30645 3 GOVERNMENT NOTICE DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL AFFAIRS AND TOURISM No. R. 15 4 January 2008 MARINE LIVING RESOURCES ACT, 1998 (ACT NO.18 OF 1998) GENERAL NOTICE IN TERMS OF SECTION 16 OF THE MARINE LIVING RESOURCES ACT, 1998 (ACT NO.18 OF 1998): The Minister of Environmental Affairs and Tourism has under Section 77 of the Marine Living Resources Act, 1998 (Act No. 18 of 1998), made the Regulations as set out in the Schedule. SCHEDULE Definitions 1. In this schedule "the Regulations" mean the regulations published under Government Notice No. R. 1111 of 2 September1998, as amended. Amendment of regulation 51 of the Regulations 2. Regulation 51 is hereby amended by the substitution for paragraph (b) of subregulation (4) of the following paragraph: "(b) engage in fishing or collecting any west coast rock lobster between the hours of 16h00 and 8h00;". Amendment of Annexure 2 of the Regulations 3. Annexure 2 to the Regulations is hereby amended by the substitution for paragraph (b) of PART A, item 5, of the following paragraph: "(b) recreational permit - from 15 November 2007 to 15 April 2008, both dates inclusive;". 4 No. 30645 GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, 4 JANUARY 2008 4. Annexure 2 to the Regulations is hereby amended by the substitution for item 2 of PART B, of the following item: "West Coast Rock Lobster - during the open season, a recreational permit is only valid for fishing as follows: every day from 15 November 2007 to 31 December 2007, and only on weekends and public holidays from 1 January 2008 to 15 April 2008."
