REPUBLIC OF VANUATU FISHERIES ACT [CAP 315] Foreign Fishing License Fees and Locally-Based Foreign Fishing Vessel License Fees Order No . .9JO of 2011 In exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection 79( 1) and paragraph 79(2)(b)ofthe Fisheries Act [CAP 315], I, the Honourable JAMES NWANGO, Minister of Agriculture, Quarantine, Forestry and Fisheries make the following Regulation. 1 Foreign Fishing Vessel License Fees and Locally-Based Foreign Fishing Vessel License Fees The Foreign Fishing Vessel License Fees and Locally-Based Foreign Fishing Vessel License Fees are set out in the Schedule. 2 License Period A fishing License (Local Fishing Vessel License, Foreign Fishing vessel License or Locally-Based Foreign Fishing Vessel License) may only be granted within the financial year as defined in the Public Finance and Economic Management Act [CAP 244]. 3 Commencement This Order commences on the date on which it is made. ,2011. .iD"","~·ftIlIr"""'e, Quarantine, Forestry and Fisheries Foreign Fishing License Fees And Locally-Based Foreign Fishing Vessel License Fees Order No.22.D of2011 1 SCHEDULE Foreign Fishing Vessel License Fees and Locally-Based Foreign Fishing Vessel License Fees Fishing Category Gross Registered Foreign Fishing Locally- Based Tons Vessel Foreign Fishing (GRT) Vessel Tuna Long Line Less than 100 USD 9,000 USD 8,000 Equal to and greater than 100 USD 11,000 USD 10,000 Foreign Fishing License Fees And Locally-Based Foreign Fishing Vessel License Fees Order No.'}2D of2011 2
