This stand~rd prescribes the general technical requirements fat" wood chippers used for the pmduction of technological wood chips. 04TCN 56-- 2002 -Wood working equipment · Wood chipper - Safety requirements. This standard pr~scribes the general safety requirements for the designs, structure and use of wood chippers of drum or fixed- and mobile-plate shape, operated by electric engines or internal combustion engines. The above--said five standards shall apply as from January 6, 2003.
