Date of Commencement: 18th August, 1967. BE IT ENACTED by the President and the National Assembly, in this present Parliament assembled, as follows: 1. The Water Boards Act is hereby amended, Cap. 138. (a) in section 15, (i) by substituti.ng the expression "twenty cents" for the expression "ten cents" occurring in the proviso to paragraph (a) thereof; (ii) by substituting the expression "six shillings" for the expression "three shillings" occurring in the · proviso to sub-para graph (i) of paragraph (b) thereof; (b) by substituting for section 17 thereof the following, 17. The owner of any premises in respect of which any rate or charge is payable under the provisions of this Act, shall be liable for the payment "Liabilit)'. for the pay ment of ratea and charges.
