THE LAWS OF ZANZIBAR CHAPTER 126 POUND (SUBSIDIARY LEGISLATION) PRINTED AND PUBLISHED BY THE' GOVERNMENT PRINTER, ZANZIBAR (,1-AP. 126. 6 GAP-.---12o.] Pound (Subsidiary] G.N. 29 of 1939, ORDER Under section 4 The Pound (Places for R~ception of Animals) Order 1. This Order may be cited as the Pound (Places for Reception of Animals) Order. 2. Any animal seized under the provisions of sections 4 and 5 of the Decree may be conveyed (a) if seized within the limits of the Town of Zanzibar, to the Government Pound; Pound [CAP. 126. 7 [Subsidiary] (b) if sei~~d within ~the limits of the Towns of Wete, Chake Chake Qr Mkoani, to the police sTation of any such town and thence to such- place as the officer m charge of the police station in any s:uch town may direct for the reception therefo; and (c) if seized without the limits=-of any of the above-mentioned towns, to the residence of the Sheba of the Shehia in which the animal · was seized who shall impound such animal in such place as he shall think fit. GOVERNMENT POUND Tlre Government Pound for the Town of Zanzibar is situated at Gen. N. the Old Veterinary Hospital at Kisiwandui. 825 of 1939·
