GOVERNMENT NOTICE NO. 417 published on 17/6/2022 THE MINING ACT, (CAP. 123) _____________ REGULATIONS _____________ (Made under section 129) THE MINING (MIRERANI CONTROLLED AREA) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 2022 Citation 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Mining GN. No. 319 of 2019 (Mirerani Controlled Area) (Amendment) Regulations, 2022 and shall be read as one with the Mining (Mirerani Controlled Area) Regulations, 2019 hereinafter referred to as the “principal Regulations”. Amendment of 2. The principal Regulations are amended in regulation regulation 17 17(2)(h) by deleting item “(e)” and substitute for it item “(g)” Amendment of 3. The principal Regulations are amended in regulation regulation 19 19(1) by adding immediately after paragraph (c) the following- “(d) issue directives for the orderly conduct and proper supervision of the controlled area.
