These Regulations may be cited as the Fisheries (General Amendment) Regulations of 1991 and shall be read as one with the principal Regulations, 1989 and shall come into operation on the first day of July, 1991. 785 a.S, 317 t1f 15.9,H\l Fisheries (General Amendment) G.N. No. 362 (contd.) Forms for prowns fishing licence 2. The principal Regulations, 1989 are hereby amended: (i) in Regulation 13 by adding after sub-regulation (4) the following: "4A. Application for a prawn fishing licence shall be .made in Form No. 5(c)"; (ii) in the First Schedule by adding a new Form: "5(c) Application for a licence for prawn fishing"; (iii) in the Third Schedule by deleting paragraph (a), (b) and (c) and substituting for it the following new paragraphs: "(a) Fishing vessel registration and transfer fee shall be charged according to ownership and mode of fishing operation. OWNERSHIP Mode of fishing activity (i) Registration fee for prawn fishingvessel (ii) Registration fee for any fishingvessel other than a prawn fishingvessel (iii) Sport fishing vessel vessel owned by citizen! local vessel (T.SHS) Tshs.100/- for a vessel up to 11.0 metres in length or20GRT,andTshs.10001 for a vessel above 11.Om. or20GRT 100/ 100/ Vessel owned by non citi zen foreign vessel (US $) 10,000.00 for a vessel up to 150GRT and 30,000.00 for a vessel above 150GRT. 2,000.00 40.00 (iv) Transfer fee for any type fishingvessel shall be the same rate as the registration fee.
