National Disaster Relief Fund (Amendment) Notice, 2013 (S.I. 47 of 2013)

[27th May 2013] Supplement to Official Gazette 1097 S.I. 47 of 2013 PUBLIC FINANCES MANAGEMENT ACT (Act 9 of 2012) National Disaster Relief Fund (Amendment) Notice, 2013 In exercise ofthe powers conferred by section 36 read with section 44(2) of the Public Finances Management Act, the Minister responsible for Finance, Trade and Investment hereby makes the following Notice 1. This Notice may be cited as the National Disaster Relief Fund (Amendment) Notice, 2013. 2. The National Disaster Relief Fund Notice IS amended inparagraph 4 (a) (i) by inserting in subparagraph (b) between the words "as" and "floods," the word "epidemics,"; and (ii} by repealing the words "and other natural causes" and· SUbstituting therefor the words, "other natural causes and contamination by hazardous substances"; (b) by inserting between subparagraph (b) and (c) the following new subparagraph "(c) to provide funds for rehabilitation of communities and the reconstruction of public infrastructure related to any emergencies under subparagraph (b); (d) provide funds for review of disaster risk assessment on prevention and mitigation Citation Amendment of S.L 70f2013 1098 Supplement to Official Gazette [13th May 2013] and any reconstruction program related to risk management;"; (c) by renumbering subparagraph (c) and (d) as (e) and (f) respectively, MADE this 3rd day ofApril,2013.
