Short title and commencement.—(1) This Act shall be called the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Amendment) Act, 2022. (77) Price: Rs. 5.00 [7410(2022)/Ex. Amendment of section 8, Ordinance XVII of 2002.—In the Oil and Gas Regularity Authority Ordinance, 2002 (XVII of 2002), in section 8,— (2) in_sub-section. (3), for full ;top at t}}g‘egg; a -colon s substituted and thereafier the following proviso: shall b namely:— : “Provided that the Federal Government shall ensure that the sale prices so advised ‘are not léss' than the revenue require ment determined by the Authority.”, and (b) for sub-sections (4) and (5), the following shall be substituted, namely:— “(4) If the Federal Government fails to advise the Author ity within the time specified in sub-section (3), the category wise prescribed prices so determined by the Authority under sub- sections (1) and (2), as the case may be, shall be notified by the Authority as the category wise sale prices.
