THE BALOCHISTAN GROUND WATER RIGHTS ADMINISTRATION (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE. 200 I. AN ORDINANCE further to amend the Balochistan Ground Water Rights Administration Ordinance. 1978 (IX of 1978). Preamble. WHEREAS. it is expedient further to amend the Baloehistan Ground Water Rights Administration Ordinance. 1978. in the manner hereinafter appt:anng: .. --~--~-~---~--------~.~ Short title and commencement. Amendment of section 3 of Act IX of 1978. 2 AND WHEREAS, the Governor of Balochistan is satisfied that circumstances exist which render it necessary to take in~mediate action; NOW THEREFORE, in pursuance of Article 4 of the Provisional Constitution (Amendment) Order, 1999 (Chief Executive's Order No.9 of 1999), and in exercise of all powers enabling him in that behalf, the Governor of Balochistan is pleased to make and promulgate the following Ordinance: I. (I) This Ordinance may be called the Balochistan Ground Water Rights Administration (Amendment) Ordinance, 200 I. (2) It shall come into force at once. , In the Balochistan Ground Water Rights Administration Ordinance, 1978, hereinafter referred to as the said Ordinance, in clause (a) of sub section (I) of section 3, the word "Commissioner" shall be deleted. Amendment of section 4 of Act IX of 1978. 3. In the said Ordinance, in section 4, (a) in clause (a) for the words "Deputy Commissioner" and "Extra Assistant Director Agriculture" the words "Executive District Officer (Revenue)" shall be subsituted. (b) in clause (0), for the words "Commissioner of the Division" the words "District Coordination Officer of the District" shall be '" substituted.
