A\iD WHEREAS the Provincial AssemblyofBalochistnn ~tands suspended in pursuance of. the Proclamation of Emergeiicy of the fourteenth day o(Octo~er, 1999,. and the Governor of Balochs1ian is satisfied that circumsiance exist which render it necessary to take immediate action; NOW, THEREFORE, in pursuance of Article 4 of the Provincial Constitution ( Amendrnent) Order, 1999, ( Chief Executive's Order No.9 of 1999 ) , and in exercise ofall powers enabling him in that behalf, the Governor of Balochistan. on the instmctions of the Chief Executive of p'aki~ta-i is pleased to make and promulgate the following ordin ance:~ I. (I) This Ordinance may be called the Balochistan Ground Water Rights Administration (Amendment) Ordinance, 2000. (2) It shall come into force at once. 2. In the Bal9chsitar. Ground Water Rights Administration Ordinance , 1978, after clause (k)of sub section (6) of section 3, the following new clause shall be added, namely: "(I) The Board wil I arrange to deterrnine the existing withdrawal of ground water through the tube wells, open surface wells, persian wells, karezes or any other means, by installation of water meters, or any other water measuring devices, ,Jn the souces."
