Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries (Restructuring) Amendment Act 2010 Public Act 2010 No 19 Date of assent 19 April 2010 Commencement see section 2 Contents Page 1 Title 1 2 Commencement 1 3 Principal Act amended 2 4 Section 18 repealed 2 5 Section 19 repealed 2 6 Consequential amendments to Fisheries Act 1996 2 7 Consequential amendment to Pork Industry Board Act 1997 3 8 Transitional provision 3 The Parliament of New Zealand enacts as follows: 1 Title This Act is the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries (Restruc turing) Amendment Act 2010. 2 Commencement This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent. 1 s 3 Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries (Restructuring) Amendment Act 2010 2010 No 19 3 Principal Act amended This Act amends the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries (Restructuring) Act 1995. 4 Section 18 repealed Section 18 is repealed. 5 Section 19 repealed Section 19 is repealed. 6 Consequential amendments to Fisheries Act 1996 (1) This section amends the Fisheries Act 1996. (2) Section 268(1) is amended by repealing paragraph (a) and sub stituting the following paragraph: “(a) the person is liable to pay a levy imposed under section 264; and”. (3) Section 268(1)(b) is amended by omitting “or additional amount”. (4) Section 268(1) is amended by repealing paragraph (c) and sub stituting the following paragraph: “(c) payment of the outstanding levy has not been waived under section 267(2).” (5) Section 268(3)(a) is amended by omitting “(including an ad ditional amount payable under section 18 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries (Restructuring) Act 1995)”. (6) Section 269(1) is amended by repealing paragraph (a) and sub stituting the following paragraph: “(a) the person is liable to pay a levy imposed under section 264; and”. (7) Section 269(1)(b) is amended by omitting “or additional amount”. (2) Section 37 is amended by repealing subsection (6) and substi tuting the following subsection: “(6) All levy money received by the Director-General must be ac counted for in full to the Board, subject to section 17(2) and (3) of the Ministries of Agriculture and Forestry (Restructur ing) Act 1997.” 8 Transitional provision Any amount that is payable under section 18 of the princi pal Act immediately before the commencement of this Act re mains payable as if that section had not been repealed.
