2011/275 Marine Reserve (Tāwharanui) Order 2011 Anand Satyanand, Governor-General Order in Council At Wellington this 15th day of August 2011 Present: His Excellency the Governor-General in Council Pursuant to section 4(1) of the Marine Reserves Act 1971, His Ex cellency the Governor-General makes the following order, acting— (a) on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council; and (b) on the recommendation of the Minister of Conservation given— (i) with the concurrence of the Minister of Transport and the Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture; and (ii) after the requirements of sections 4(2) and 5 of the Mar ine Reserves Act 1971 have been met. Schedule cl 3 Tāwharanui Marine Reserve The area comprising 394.20 hectares shown marked “Section 1” on SO Plan 442324. Rebecca Kitteridge, Clerk of the Executive Council. Explanatory note This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect. This order, which comes into force on 15 September 2011, creates the Tāwharanui Marine Reserve.
