2010/408 Fisheries (Schedule 6) Order 2010 Anand Satyanand, Governor-General Order in Council At Wellington this 15th day of November 2010 Present: His Excellency the Governor-General in Council Pursuant to section 72(7) of the Fisheries Act 1996, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council and on the recommendation of the Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture, makes the following order. Schedule cl 3 New item inserted in Schedule 6 of Fisheries Act 1996 Stock Area Requirements Kina (Evechinus chloroticus) All New Zealand fisheries waters A commercial fisher may return kina to the waters from which it was taken if the kina— (a) is taken by hand-gathering; and (b) is likely to survive on return. This order, which comes into force on 16 December 2010, amends Schedule 6 of the Fisheries Act 1996.
