ABSENTEE LANDOWNERS LEVY (AMENDMENT NO. 2) ACT 2014 AEBSENTII LAENOENAS LEVI (CHIENJEN NAMBA 2) AEKT 2014 Act No. 6 of 2014 An Act to amend the exemptions available under the Absentee Landowners Levy Act 1976. [Assented to 24 April 2014] Short title 1. This Act may be cited as the Absentee Landowners Levy (Amendment No. 2) Act 2014. Commencement 2. This Act commences upon notice of assent being published in the Gazette. Principal Act 3. In this Act the Absentee Landowners Levy Act 1976 is called the principal Act. Amendment of principal Act 4. Paragraph 3(1)(a) of the principal Act is amended by inserting at its commencement, “a person who”. Notified Gazette No. 18, 2 May 2014. Commenced on notification (2 May 2014.) This enactment amends Act No. 2 of 1976 as consolidated as at 25 February 2013.
