WATER SERViCES inDuStRY aCt 2006 water SerViCeS induStrY (liCenSing) (exeMPtion) order 2008 n exercise of the powers conferred by section 22 of the Water Services industry act 2006 [Act 655], the Minister makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1. (1) this order may be cited as the Water Services Industry (Licensing) (Exemption) Order 2008. (2) this Order is in operation from 1 July 2008 until 31 December 2008. Exemption 2. any person who owns a private water supply system or private sewerage system or any part of the system, or undertakes, provides or makes available any water supply services or sewerage services or part thereof by means of operating a private water supply system or private sewerage system, is exempted from holding a class licence under the act.
