12 Enactment No.2of 1968. Citation and commence ment. Prohibition of exporta tion. [No. PBN. 1509/5 Pt. IV THE FOREST ENACTMENT 1968 (Enactment No. 2 of 1968) FOREST (PROHIBIDON OF EXPORT OF FOREST PRODUCE) (No. I) RULES 1996 In exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 42(1) of the Forest Enactment 1968 and all other powers thereunto him enabling, the Chief Minister hereby makes the following rules: 1. These rules may be cited as the Forest (Prohibition of Export of Forest Produce) (No. 1) Rules 1996 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1st July, 1990. 2. The exportation of the forest produce described in the Schedule hereto is absolutely prohibited. SCHEDULE Description of Forest Produce Raw rattan/unprocessed rattan.
