Food (Amendment) Regulations 2005

FOOD (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 2005 PU(A).358/2005 IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 34 of the Food Act 1983 [Act 281], the Minister makes the following regulations: 1. These regulations may be cited as the Food (Amendment) Regulations 2005. 2. Amendment of regulation 384 The Food Regulations 1985 [P.U. (A) 437/1985], which are referred to as "the principal Regulations" in these Regulations, are amended in regulation 384 by substituting for the words "Sam Cheong" the words "Sam Cheng". 3. Amendment of Fourteenth Schedule The Fourteenth Schedule to the principal Regulations is amended in Table I by substituting for the column "(6)" the column "(5)". 4. Amendment of Fifteenth A Schedule The Fifteenth A Schedule to the principal Regulations is amended: (a) in Table I, by inserting after the substance "Progesterone" the following substance and particulars in the appropriate columns: (1) (2) (3) Substance "Ractopamine Ractopamine Muscle (pig) 10 Fat (pig) 10 Liver (pig) 40 Kidney (pig) 90"; and (b) in Table II, by inserting after the words "Beta agonists" the words "excluding Ractopamine". 5. Amendment of Sixteenth Schedule The Sixteenth Schedule to the principal Regulations is amended: (a) in respect of pesticide "Carbendazim" in column (1), by substituting for the figure "3" which appear in column (3) against the word "Mango" in column (2) the figure "2"; (b) in respect of pesticide "Cypermethrin" in column (1), by inserting after the words "Cocoa beans" in column (2) and figure "0.05" in column (3) the word "Fruits" and figure "2" respectively; (c) in respect of pesticide "Endosulfan" (sum of alpha and beta endosulfan and endosulfan sulphate)" in column (1), by inserting after the words "Cocoa beans" in column (2) and figure "0.1" in column (3) the word "Fruits" and the figure "2" respectively; (d) in respect of pesticide "Metaldehyde" in column (1), by inserting after the words "Rice (milled or polished)" in column (2) and the figure "1" in column (3) the following words and figures in the respective column: (2) (3) "Fruits 1 Tuber crops 1"; (e) in the national language text, by substituting for pesticide "Diflubenzuron Dimetoat (jumlah dimetoat dan ometoat)" the following pesticides: (1) (2) (3) "Diflubenzuron Kubis 1 Dimetoat Bawang besar 0.2 (jumlah Beras kilang 0.1 dimetoat dan Biji koko 0.1 ometoat) Biji kopi 0.1 Buah-buahan sitrus 2 Bunga kubis 2 Cili 2 Kacang buncis 1 Kacang panjang 1 Kacang tanah 0.05 Kailan 0.5 Karot 1 Kubis 2 Labu manis 2 Lobak putih 1 Mangga 1 Nenas 1 Pisang 1 Salad 2 Sayur-sayuran brassica (kecuali yang disenaraikan selainnya) 2 Sayur-sayuran daun (kecuali yang disenaraikan selainnya) 2 Sayur-sayuran kekacang 1 Teh 0.2 Tembikai 1 Terung 2 Timun 2 Tomato 1"; and (f) in the national language text, by substituting for the word "Formosion" the word "Formotion".
