FISHERIES ACT 1985 FISHERIES (PRomamoN OF lMPORt, ere., OF FISH} ROOULA'l'IONS 1990 IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 61 of lhe Fisheries Act 1985, the Minister makes the following regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Fisheries (Prohibition or Import, elc., or Flsh) Regulations 1990. 2. (I) No per,on shall import into, sell, cultivate or keep live fish of the genus as specified in the Schedule to these Regulations except with the written pennission of the Director-General. (2) The Director-Oencral may impose any conditions he deems fit in the written permission grontcd pursuant to paragraph ( I). . ... ,.,. 3. Any person who contravenes lhe provision ofrcgula1ion 2 (l ) or any conditions imposed in the written permission granted by the Director-Gencral undcr regulation 2 (2) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable to a fine not exceeding one thousand ringgit or to a term of imprisonment 001 exceeding one year or both. 4.
