ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY (COMPOUNDING OF OFFENCES) (AMENDMENT) RULES 2010 PU(A) 073/2010 11 March 2010 IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 45(2) of the Environmental Quality Act 1974[Act 127], the Minister makes the following rules: 1. Citation These rules may be cited as the Environmental Quality (Compounding of Offences) (Amendment) Rules 2010. 2. New rule 1A The Environmental Quality (Compounding of Offences) Rules 1978[P.U. (A) 281/1978] are amended by inserting after rule 1 the following rule: "Compoundable offences 1A. The compoundable offences under these Rules shall be as follows: (a) all offences under the Environmental Quality (Control of Pollution from Solid Waste Transfer Station and Landfill) Regulations 2009 [P.U. (A) 433/2009]; (b) all offences under the Environmental Quality (Industrial Effluent) Regulations 2009[P.U. (A) 434/2009]; (c) all offences under the Environmental Quality (Sewage) Regulations 2009[P.U. (A) 432/2009].".
