Radiation Protection (Registration of Radiation Sources and Facilities) (Amendment) Regulations 2013 GN No. 257 of 2013 Government Gazette of Mauritius No. 99 of 9 November 2013 THE RADIATION PROTECTION ACT Regulations made by the Minister under section 24 of the Radiation Protection Act 1. These regulations may be cited as the Radiation Protection (Registration of Radiation Sources and Facilities) (Amendment) Regulations 2013. 2. In these regulations — “principal regulations” means the Radiation Protection (Registration of Radiation Sources and Facilities) Regulations 2009. 3. Regulation 2 of the principal regulations is amended — (a) in the definition of “facility”, by deleting the full stop and replacing it by a semicolon; and (b) by adding the following new definition — “owner of a facility” includes the person occupying the facility and having control over the practice being carried out within the facility. 4. These regulations shall come into operation on 1 November 2013. Made by the Minister on 17 October 2013.
