Morcellement (Amendment of Schedule) Regulations 2013 GN No. 20 of 2013 Government Gazette of Mauritius No. 8 of 26 January 2013 THE MORCELLEMENT ACT Regulations made by the Minister under section 10(2) of the Morcellement Act 1. These regulations may be cited as the Morcellement (Amendment of Schedule) Regulations 2013. 2. In these regulations — “Act” means the Morcellement Act. 3. The Second Schedule to the Act is repealed and replaced by the Second Schedule set out in the Schedule to these regulations. 4. These regulations shall come into operation on 1 February 2013. Where the morcellement is for residential, commercial or industrial purposes and — (a) of 8,500 square metres or less (b) over 8,500 square metres, but less than 21,000 square meters (c) of 21,000 square metres or more 250 500 1,000 2. Where the morcellement is for any other purpose 250 PART II Morcellement fee (Rs) 1. Where the morcellement is for residential, commercial or industrial purposes 10 for every square metre of land or part thereof 2. Where the morcellement is exclusively for agricultural purposes 5 for every square metre of land or part thereof
