These regulations may be cited as the Fisheries and Marine Resources (Extension of Net Fishing Season) Regulations 2020. 2. In these regulations – “Act” means the Fisheries and Marine Resources Act. 3. For the purpose of section 14(5) of the Act, a person may fish at sea, in any river, lake or dam with a large net, pocket net, gill net or canard net from 1 October 2020 to 10 October 2020. 4. These regulations shall not apply to the Island of Rodrigues. Made by the Minister on 1 October 2020.
