Environment Protection (Control of Single Use Plastic Products) (Amendment) Regulations 2025 GN No. 53 of 2025 Government Gazette of Mauritius No. 47 of 14 June 2025 THE ENVIRONMENT ACT 2024 Regulations made by the Minister under sections 102 and 147 of the Environment Act 2024 1. These regulations may be cited as the Environment Protection (Control of Single Use Plastic Products) (Amendment) Regulations 2025. 2. In these regulations - "principal regulations" means the Environment Protection (control of Single Use Plastic Products) Regulations 2020. 3. The principal regulations is amended by revoking regulation 1 and replacing it by the following regulation - 1. These regulations may be cited as the Environment (Control of Single Use Plastic Products) Regulations 2020. 4. Regulation 17 of the principal regulations is amended, in paragraph (2), by deleting the words "14 January 2025" and replacing them by the words "14 January 2026". 5. These regulations shall be deemed-to have come into operation on 15 January 2021. Made by the Minister on 6 June 2025.
