Urban Waste Water Treatment (Amendment) Regulations (Legal Notice 192 of 2004)

B 2573 L.N. 192 of 2004 ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION ACT (CAP. 435) Urban Waste Water Treatment (Amendment) Regulations, 2004 BY virtue of the powers conferred by articles 9 and 10 of the Environment Protection Act, 2001, the Minister for Rural Affairs and the Environment has made the following regulations>– 1. The title of these regulations is the Urban Waste Water Treatment (Amendment) Regulations, 2004, and they shall be read and construed as one with the Urban Waste Water Treatment Regulations, 2001, hereinafter referred to as “the principal regulations”. 2. Immediately after the second proviso to sub-regulation (1) of regulation 4 of the principal regulations, there shall be added the following new third proviso> “Provided further that the provisions of this sub-regulation shall apply as follows to – (i) Marsa Land and Gozo-Main by the 1st May, 2004< (ii) Malta South by the 30th June, 2004< (iii) G[arb and Nadur by the 31st December, 2005< and (iv) the rest of Malta by the 31st October, 2006.”. 3. Immediately after subparagraph (c) to sub-regulation (1) of regulation 5 of the principal regulations, there shall be added the following new proviso> “Provided that the provisions of this sub-regulation shall apply as follows to – Citation. L.N. 340 of 2001. Amends regulation 4 of the principal regulations. Amends regulation 5 of the principal regulations. B 2574 (i) Marsa Land by the 1st May, 2004< (ii) Gozo-Main by the 31st October, 2004< (iii) G[arb and Nadur by the 31st December, 2005< (iv) Malta North by the 31st October, 2006< and (v) the rest of Malta by the 31st March, 2007.”.
