(1) It-titolu ta’ dawn ir-regolamenti hu r-Regolamenti tal-2010 li jemendaw ir-Regolamenti dwar Bastimenti Żgħar, u għandhom jinqraw u jiftiehmu ħaġa waħda mar-Regolamenti tal 2008 dwar Bastimenti Żgħar, hawn iżjed ’il quddiem f’dawn ir regolamenti msejħin “ir-regolamenti prinċipali”. (2) Dawn ir-regolamenti għandhom jitqiesu li bdew iseħħu fl-10 ta’ Novembru, 2009. 2. Ir-regolament 1 tar-regolamenti prinċipali għandu jiġi emendat kif ġej: (a) minflok is-subparagrafu (ii) tal-paragrafu (b) tas subregolament (2) tiegħu għandu jidħol dan li ġej: “(ii) ta’, jew iżjed minn, 30 H.P., fl-1 ta’ Jannar, 2011; u (iii) ta’ mhux iżjed minn 30 H.P., f’dik id data li l-Ministru jista’ jordna.”; u (b) minflok il-paragrafi (b) u (ċ) tas-subregolament (3) tiegħu għandu jidħol dan li ġej: “(b) li jiġu regolati l-attivitajiet ta’ divertiment marbutin mal-baħar fl-ibħra interni u territorjali ta’ Malta; u Titolu u bidu fis-seħħ. Minflok l-Ewwel Skeda li tinsab mar-regolamenti prinċipali għandha tidħol l-Ewwel Skeda li tinsab ma’ dawn ir regolamenti. 4. It-Tielet Skeda li tinsab mar-regolamenti prinċipali għandha tiġi emendata kif ġej: (a) il-partita “Nuqqas ta’ avviż fiż-żmien stipulat ta’ xi modifikazzjoni lill-bastiment żgħir jew xi bidla fid-dettalji tar reġistrazzjoni………€100” għandu jiġi mħassar; u (b) il-partita “Bdil fil-proprjetà tal-bastiment żgħir mhux avżat fiż-żmien stipulat………€200” għandu jiġi mħassar. Biex tin"are# li&enzja fis-sena g"all-kiri ta’ bastiment %g"ir B 621VERŻJONI ELETTRONIKA L.N. 57 of 2010 PORTS AND SHIPPING ACT (CAP. 352) Small Ships (Amendment) Regulations, 2010 IN exercise of the powers conferred by articles 4(3) and 27 of the Ports and Shipping Act, the Minister for Infrastructure, Transport and Communications, in consultation with the Authority for Transport in Malta and in concurrence with the Minister of Finance, the Economy and Investment, has made the following regulations: 1. (1) The title of these regulations is the Small Ships (Amendment) Regulations, 2010 and they shall be read and construed as one with the Small Ships Regulations, 2008, hereinafter referred to as “the principal regulations”. (2) These regulations shall be deemed to have come into force on the 10th of November, 2009. 2. Regulation 1 of the principal regulations shall be amended as follows: (a) for sub-paragraph (ii) of paragraph (b) of sub regulation (2) thereof, there shall be substituted the following: “(ii) of, or exceeding, 30H.P., on the 1st of January, 2011; and (iii) not exceeding 30H.P., on such date as the Minister may prescribe.”; and (b) for paragraphs (b) and (c) of sub-regulation (3) thereof, there shall be substituted the following: “(b) to regulate water based recreational activities in the internal and territorial waters of Malta; and (c) to regulate the preservation of good order in any part of the internal and territorial waters of Malta.”. 3. For the First Schedule to the principal regulations, there shall be substituted the First Schedule to these regulations. Citation and commencement. L.N. 183 of 2008. Amends regulation 1 of the principal regulations. Substitutes the First Schedule to the principal regulations. B 622 VERŻJONI ELETTRONIKA 4. The Third Schedule to the principal regulations shall be amended as follows: (a) the item “Failure to give notice within the stipulated period of any modification to the small ship or any change in the details of registration………€100” shall be deleted; and (b) the item “Change of ownership of a small ship not notified within the stipulated period………€200” shall be deleted.
