B 2742 L.N. 172 of 2002 ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION ACT, 2001 (ACT NO. XX OF 2001) Nomination of the Malta Resources Authority as the Competent Authority BY virtue of the powers conferred on him by article 6 of the Environment Protection Act, 2001 the Minister for Home Affairs and the Environment has nominated the Malta Resources Authority in consultation with the Ministry responsible for Health to carry out the functions of the Competent Authority under the Quality Required of Surface Water Intended for the Abstraction of Drinking Water Regulations, 2001 published by Legal Notice 339 of 2001.
