B 1567VERŻJONI ELETTRONIKA L.N. 134 of 2009 PLANT QUARANTINE ACT (CAP. 433) Control of the Red Palm Weevil (Amendment) Regulations, 2009 IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 32 of the Plant Quarantine Act, the Minister for Resources and Rural Affairs has made the following regulations: 1. The title of these regulations is the Control of the Red Palm Weevil (Amendment) Regulations, 2009 and they shall be read and construed as one with the Red Palm Weevil Regulations, 2009, hereinafter referred to as “the principal regulations”. 2. These regulations shall be deemed to have come into force on the date of publication of the principal regulations. 3. In sub-regulation (1) of regulation 5 of the principal regulations, for the words “within 30 days from the publication of these regulations” there shall be substituted the words “until the 17th April, 2009”.
