B 2384 VERŻJONI ELETTRONIKA B 2384 L.N. 279 of 2012 ENVIRONMENT AND DEVELOPMENT PLANNING ACT (CAP. 504) Conservation of Wild Birds (Declaration of the periods for Hunting in Autumn - Winter 2012 - 2013) Regulations, 2012 BY VIRTUE of the powers conferred by article 61 of the Environment and Development Planning Act, and in terms of the provisions of regulation 10(6)(t) of the Conservation of Wild Birds’ Regulations, the Minister for Tourism, Culture and the Environment has made the following regulations: Citation. 1. Conservation of Wild Birds (Declaration of the periods for Hunting in Autumn - Winter 2012 - 2013) Regulations, 2012. Interpretation. S.L. 504.71 2. Terms and expressions used in these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires, shall have the same meaning as given to them in the Conservation of Wild Birds Regulations, hereinafter referred to as the "the Wild Birds Regulations". Establishing the hunting period. 3. For the purposes of establishing the period for the hunting of wild birds under paragraphs of sub-regulation of regulation 10(6)(t)(i) and (iii) of the Wild Birds Regulations, the Minister for Tourism, Culture and the Environment has established the following dates: (a) the hunting of birds on land shall be permitted between the 1st September 2012 and the 31st January 2013, between two hours before sunrise and two hours after sunset on any day between Monday and Saturday, and between two hours before sunrise and 1 o’clock in the afternoon (1.00 p.m) on Sundays and Public Holidays: Provided that hunting on land between the 15th September 2012 and the 30th September 2012 shall not be permitted from Monday to Saturday after 3.00 pm and two hours before sunrise of the next following day; (b) the hunting of birds at sea shall be permitted between the 1st October 2012 and the 31st January 2013.
