R.O. 12 of 2013 2 MONTSERRAT STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS S.R.O. 12 OF 2013 REGISTERED LAND (AMENDMENT) RULES THE REGISTERED LAND (AMENDMENT) RULES, 2013 MADE BY THE GOVERNOR ACTING ON THE ADVICE OF CABINET UNDER SECTION 158 OF THE REGISTERED LAND ACT (CAP. 08.01). 1. Citation and commencement This Order may be cited as the Registered Land (Amendment) Rules 2013 comes into force on the 1 st April, 2013. 2. Fourth Schedule replaced The Fourth Schedule of the Registered Land Rules is replaced with the following— FOURTH SCHEDULE ITEM Fees (1 ) O n application for a Land Certificate or a certificate of Lease $35.00 (i) without plan 3 5 .0 0 (ii) with plan attached 5 0 .0 0 (Prepared by Land & Survey Department) Montserrat Registered Land (Amendment) Rules, 2013 S. R.O. 12 of 2013 3 (2 ) O n application for any instrument to be prepared in the Registry Not exceeding $ 2 5 0 .0 0 as the Registrar may assess (3 ) O n application for registration of any transfer $ 2 0 .0 0 or 0 .7 5 % of the consideration whichever is greater (4 ) O n application for registration of or filing of any instrument, other than a transfer, discharge of a charge or removal of a caution $ 2 0 .0 0 (5 ) O n application for the discharge of a charge or removal of a caution $ 2 5 .0 0 (6 ) For opening a new register consequent upon partition, subdivision or combination; for each parcel resulting $ 2 0 .0 0 (7 ) O n application to inspect a register: (a) For inspection of one register $ 2 0 .0 0 (b) For a general search $ 5 0 .0 0 (c) In the case of Solicitors an annual inspection fee in lieu of (a) or (b) $ 3 5 0 .0 0 (8 ) O n application for an official search $ 2 0 .0 0 (9 ) O n application for a copy of any register or instrument; for any page copied: (a) if certified $ 2 0 .0 0 (b) in uncertified $ 1 0 .0 0 Montserrat Registered Land (Amendment) Rules, 2013 S.
