1. This Law shall be called the Law Amending the National Drug Law. LI
2. 3. The expression “fine which may extend from a minimum of kyats 5,000 to a maximum of kyats 50,000” rm contained in section 18 and sub-section (a) of section 19 of the National Drug Law shall be substituted In respectively by the expression “fine which may extend from a minimum of fifty thousand kyats to a fo maximum of five hundred thousand kyats”. w
4. The expression “fine which may extend from a minimum of kyats 1,000 to a maximum of kyats 10,000” La contained in sub-section (b) of section 19 of the National Drug Law shall be substituted by the expression “fine which may extend from a minimum of ten thousand kyats to a maximum of one hundred thousand ar kyats”. nm
5. The expression “fine which may extend from a minimum of kyats 500 to a maximum of kyats 5,000” ya contained in section 20 of the National Drug Law shall be substituted by the expression “fine which may M extend from a minimum of five thousand kyats to a maximum of fifty thousands kyats”.
6. Section 32 of the National Drug Law shall be substituted as follows: “32. In implementing the provisions of this Law: (a) the Ministry of Health may issue rules, regulations and by-laws, as may be necessary, with the approval of the government; Page 3 of 4 The Law Amending the National Drug Law (b) the Ministry of Health and the Myanmar Food and Drug Board of Authority may issue notifications, orders, directives and procedures as may be necessary.” I hereby sign under the Constitution of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
